Song Circus er et ledende vokalensemble innen samtidsmusikk og består av Silje Aker Johnsen, Ingeborg Dalheim, Signe Irene Time og kunstnerisk leder Liv Runesdatter. Ensemblet jobber med eksperimentell musikk, lydkunst og audiovisuelle produksjoner. Det er bygget som et instrument; med ulike kvaliteter og musikalske tilnærminger, og et svært omfangsrik lydlig vokabular. De har samarbeidet med bl.a. Pascale Criton, Trevor Wishart, Nils Henrik Asheim og Jaap Blank. Song Circus har konsertert over hele Europa og blitt kringkastet på radio og TV i inn- og utland.
Song Circus is a leading vocal ensemble in contemporary music and consists of Silje Aker Johnsen, Ingeborg Dalheim, Signe Irene Time, and artistic director Liv Runasdatter. The ensemble works with experimental music, sound art, and audiovisual productions. It is built like an instrument, with various qualities and musical approaches, and an extensive sonic vocabulary. They have collaborated with, among others, Pascale Criton, Trevor Wishart, Nils Henrik Asheim, and Jaap Blank. Song Circus has performed across Europe and has been broadcast on radio and TV both domestically and internationally.
