Victoria Ulriksen - 19 år gammel orgelfenomen!


19 år gamle Victoria Ulriksen har allerede en imponerende internasjonal karriere, med et stort antall konserter rundt om i hele Europa.

Victoria Ulriksen (f. 2006) studerer utøvende orgel på bachelorstudiet ved Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig hos professor Martin Schmeding, parallelt med kirkemusikk på bachelorstudiet ved Norges musikkhøgskole hos professor Kåre Nordstoga. Hun studerer også hammerklaver og moderne klaver hos professor emerita Liv Glaser.

Hun har mottatt priser i konkurranser i både inn- og utland, blant annet 1. pris i finalen i Ungdommens Musikkmesterskap og publikumsprisen i den internasjonale Maria Hofer Orgelwettbewerb 2023. 

Victoria debuterte allerede som 15-åring i Oslo Domkirke, og utenlands i 2023 på Skandinavias eneste Cavaillé-Coll orgel i København. Hun har siden spilt konserter i Nidarosdomen, Fraumünster Zürich, Uppsala Domkyrka, Haderslev Domkirke, Westerkerk Amsterdam, og Hasselt katedralen. Hun har også åpnet Salzburg Festspiele 4 ganger Fjorårets Englandsturné besto blant annet av katedralene i Blackburn og Truro, og i år består hennes turné av over 15 engelske katedraler som Norwich, Chester og Southwark, i tillegg til Handel House London og Westminster Abbey. Hun spiller også i St Paul’s Cathedral i London neste år.

I 2025 spiller hun over 50 konserter, derav på internasjonale og prestisjefylte festivaler i Trieste katedralen, Fraumünster Zürich, Västerås Domkyrka, St. Chad’s Cathedral under den direktesendte «Thursday Live Plus!”, og Internasjonale Orgelsommer Karlsruhe. Hun er allerede booket for flere festivaler i 2026, deriblant den eksklusive «OrgelGlanzLichter» i Iserlohn, og hun vil representere Norge under Nordisk Kirkemusikksymposium i 2028.

Victoria Ulriksen – 19-Year-Old Organ Phenomenon!

 

19-year-old Victoria Ulriksen already boasts an impressive international career, performing extensively across Europe.

Born in 2006, Victoria is currently studying performing organ at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig under Professor Martin Schmeding. Simultaneously, she pursues church music studies at the Norwegian Academy of Music with Professor Kåre Nordstoga. In addition, she studies both fortepiano and modern piano with Professor Emerita Liv Glaser.

Victoria has earned numerous awards in competitions at home and abroad, including 1st prize in the Youth Music Championship final and the Audience Award at the 2023 Maria Hofer International Organ Competition.

Victoria made her debut at age 15 in Oslo Cathedral and performed abroad in 2023 on Scandinavia’s only Cavaillé-Coll organ, located in Copenhagen. Since then, she has played concerts in renowned venues such as Nidaros Cathedral, Fraumünster Zurich, Uppsala Cathedral, Haderslev Cathedral, Westerkerk Amsterdam, and Hasselt Cathedral. She has also opened the Salzburg Festival four times.

Her England tour last year included performances at Blackburn and Truro Cathedrals. This year’s tour features over 15 English cathedrals, including Norwich, Chester, and Southwark, as well as concerts at Handel House London and Westminster Abbey. Next year, she will perform at the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral in London.

In 2025, Victoria is scheduled to play over 50 concerts, including appearances at prestigious international festivals in Trieste Cathedral, Fraumünster Zurich, Västerås Cathedral, St. Chad’s Cathedral (featured in the live broadcast “Thursday Live Plus!”), and the International Organ Summer Festival in Karlsruhe. She is already booked for several festivals in 2026, including the exclusive “OrgelGlanzLichter” in Iserlohn, and will represent Norway at the Nordic Church Music Symposium in 2028.
